My First Impression

AnonymousVPN is based in Seychelles, which is very good, because Seychelles is not a member of Five Eyes or Fourteen Eyes countries. AnonymousVPN has an anonymous guy logo, with a text where they promise not to disclose his real name.

My first impression about the website is above average. The website is minimalistic, it covers only essential information. You can find features and pricing related to the VPN. I love the minimalistic design of the website, but at the same time I am afraid that it may be too minimalistic. As cons of the website I can mention that it is only available in English, and AnonymousVPN does not have live chat support.

Does AnonymousVPN keep logs?

I have analyzed both FAQ page and Privacy Policy of AnonymousVPN.

On the FAQ page, AnonymousVPN state that they have no-logs policy, but I think the answer could be more detailed. There is mention of only that traffic logs are not kept, however nothing about connection or IP address logs.

AnonymousVPN Logging

I really liked the Privacy Policy page of the website. It is written in simple and clear sentences. Here, AnonymousVPN again mentions that they do not keep traffic logs, but nothing is mentioned about IP address logs.

AnonymousVPN keeps users’ credit card details, email address and connection logs (server choice, connection time, bandwith amount).

Does AnonymousVPN bypass Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) or similar VPN blocks?

Countries like China, Turkey, Russia etc. implement firewalls that block access to VPN services. As an example China uses the Great Wall of China (GFW) system to block most VPNs and proxies. Some VPN services use extra protocols so that users in those countries can bypass VPN block.

Here is what AnonymousVPN has to say about being blocked by ISP.

AnonymousVPN also provides SOCKS5. But, what is SOCKS? Here is how AnonymousVPN defines SOCKS.

SOCKS5 is not considered as anti-DPI anymore.

What is Price Performance Ratio of AnonymousVPN? (Pricing & Features)

AnnonymousVPN has a straightforward pricing. You can pay $12 per month or $69 per year. If you pay yearly then it will be $5.75 per month or $1.92 per device (3 simultaneous connections allowed). There is no free trial, but if you want to test AnonymousVPN you can buy 3 days trial for $2.

AnonymousVPN accepts major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners and Discover). In my opinion accepting only credit cards is a major drawback for AnonymousVPN. There are competitors that accept wide range of payment methods from PayPal to Bitcoin. Especially, VPN is about privacy, and I think that anonymous payment method is a must for major VPN providers.

If you don’t like AnounymousVPN’s service, you can claim refund, but keep in mind that it should be in first 14 days after purchase and you should not use more than 500 mb bandwidth.

What features are offered by AirVPN?

-Supported Platforms

AnonymousVPN support Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and Routers. However, if you are using an iOS device you need do the configurations manually using OpenVPN, which is not practical.

-Supported Protocols

AnonymousVPN does not provide detailed information about protocol types. From the FAQ page, it can be assumed that OpenVPN, L2PT, PPTP, and SOCKS5 proxy are provided by AnonymousVPN.

-Number of Servers

AnonymousVPN has 25 servers in 25 countries,  all of which allow torrents. The number is below the industry average, but if it works may be number of servers is not that important.
