My First Impressions
EarthVPN is a Northern Cyprus-based VPN company, which is a subsidiary of a Northern Cyprus internet service provider. My first impression about the website is negative. The main reason is the lack of secure SSL connection certificate on the website. Another reason is that, the website seems outdated. The last update is from 2012, and “recent tweets” are from 2013. The website also lacks live chat support. EarthVPN offers Chinese language website in addition to the English one (somehow Chinese version has SSL certificate).Does EarthVPN keep logs?

Does EarthVPN bypass Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) or similar VPN blocking firewalls?
Countries like China, Turkey, Russia etc. implement firewalls that block access to VPN services. As an example, China uses the Great Wall of China (GFW) system to block most VPNs and proxies. Some VPN services use extra protocols so that users in those countries can bypass VPN block.
EarthVPN claims that the VPN can evade deep packet inspection in countries like China, Iran, etc.

If the standard protocols offered by EarthVPN does not work for you, you can opt for SSH Tunnel and SOCKS proxy. But, this option comes at a price of $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year, making it expensive for people who want to bypass deep packet inspection.
